Debate to be viewed at Carroll

On Wednesday, October 3, Carroll Community College will hold a debate involving local political groups, followed by a viewing of the debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. The point of the event is to “introduce students and community members to the major issues and to open a dialogue leading up to the election,” according to Sylvia Blair, the Executive Assistant of the school president. The event will begin at 8:00 p.m. in K 100, and will continue until 10:30.
