“My most romantic Valentine’s Day was after I had gotten off work I bought a whole bouquet of flowers for my girlfriend, and I went to her house.  We spent the night together and we had a nice dinner.” – Cory Birdsell

“I know it didn’t probably affect me a whole lot, but I was dating a girl freshman year of high school, and it was weird because I didn’t know what dating was. We were an item but we didn’t talk or see each other outside of school, and it was coming to be Valentines day like three months into, so I broke it off so I didn’t have to buy her a present.” – Darren Sheppard

Coraline Winter- “My freshman year of high school my boyfriend and I went to the movies. Then we went back to his house and had Valentines Day dinner, and it was amazing. Then on the way home it was really quiet and awkward and then when we got to my house we said good night and all that. I came back out and he was still sitting there, so I was like ‘hey what’s up?’ and we sat there and talked for a half-hour  . . .  and then we broke up.”

“My best Valentine’s Day was probably my junior year of high school. Me and my boyfriend were dating for about a year by that point, and so what we did was listed a hundred reasons why we loved each – after forty it got hard – but we finished it and then we made dinner together, and then after we cooked dinner we went out for ice cream and rented a movie. My worst Valentines day was probably when I didn’t have anyone to spend it with.” – Julianne Badders

Brittany Hill – “I had hidden notes all throughout my belongings, and when I went out to my car I found a note that said ‘will you be mine?’ After practice I found a bouquet of flowers in my car; it was a really good day. I found out who it was, and later on me and my friends went out to dinner, and he showed up with more flowers.”

“Not really having a Valentine; I have gone years without having a Valentine. This year I do have a Valentine, but I have to babysit on Valentines Day, which is a downer.” – Cory Colbert
