On Friday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. singer-songwriter Caleb Stine will be performing songs from his sixth album in the Scott Center Theatre.
Stine’s album is called, “Maybe God is Lonely Too.” Scheduled for release in April of 2014, the album is a soundtrack for reflection. In listening to his music, Stine hopes to create a place for people to step out of the noisy, modern world around them.
The following day on Saturday, March 29, Caleb Stine will be teaching a songwriting workshop in room T404. This hands-on workshop will explain all the scary sounding terms used in songwriting. Participants will dissect songs from the greats like Dylan and Hank.
This workshop is for everyone from beginners to seasoned song writers. Bring your notebook and your guitar if you have one. The workshop will run from noon to 1:30PM.
General admission for both the concert and the workshop is $5. Admission is free for seniors over the age of 65, and for faculty, staff and students with ID.
