CAB and the Diversity Department at Carroll Community College will be hosting a movie night on October 27 in The Scott Theater, showing “The Book of Life”, directed by Jorge Gutierrez.

The event is part of CAB’s ongoing Fall Film Series. This semester CAB has already shown Disney/Pixar’s newest animated hit, “Inside Out” and the Marvel’s summer superhero film, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.

CAB President Leigh Swistock said these movies nights, “[…] are hosted to increase student involvement at Carroll.”

“The movie nights generally do have a good turn out,” Swistock said, after being asked how popular the movie nights are. “But the outdoor movie nights are definitely more popular than the indoor movies.”

The movie nights are generally hosted by CAB two or three times each semester. According to Swistock, the movie nights are paid for through CAB’s budget.

Admission is free for “The Book of Life” movie night for college students and the community. The film begins at 7pm in the theatre in The Scott Center at CCC.
